Fueling the Builders: Meet Our 2026 Circle of Community Grantees
Access to capital changes everything.
At the 4th Annual Circle of Community Gala, Black Entrepreneurs of the Flint Hills (BEFH) awarded four entrepreneurs with $2,500 Circle of Community Grants — direct investments into businesses that are operating, hiring, serving, and building right here in the Flint Hills.
Over the past two years alone, BEFH has helped launch 12 new businesses, create 28 new jobs, and unlock more than $250,000 in capital through grants, loans, and contracts. The Circle of Community Grant adds fuel to that fire — providing flexible funding paired with entrepreneurial development support.

Britany Fielder
Britt’s Real Estate Services
Britany Fielder is on a mission to turn “no’s” into “yesses.”
Through Britt’s Real Estate Services, she offers a one-stop pathway toward generational wealth — providing credit restoration, tax planning and preparation, and real estate services under one umbrella.
For many families, homeownership feels out of reach due to systemic barriers, credit challenges, or lack of guidance. Britany bridges that gap. She walks clients through rebuilding credit, understanding taxes, and ultimately purchasing property — shifting families from renting to owning.
This grant strengthens a business that does more than close deals. It builds stability. It builds equity. It builds legacy.

Through Empowered Health, they offer an integrative approach that addresses the full spectrum of health — body, mind, and spirit. Their services support individuals navigating pain recovery, performance growth, stress management, and overall transformation.
In communities where access to culturally aware wellness services can be limited, their work creates space for healing that feels safe, informed, and empowering.
The Circle of Community Grant will support program development, expanded services, and deeper community outreach — strengthening a business committed to long-term wellness, not quick fixes.

Why Circle of Community Matters
Entrepreneurship without access to capital is survival mode.
Entrepreneurship with community-backed capital is growth mode.
The Circle of Community Grant exists because black and under resourced entrepreneurs often face disproportionate barriers to traditional funding — from underwriting biases to limited generational wealth and network gaps.
By pooling resources and reinvesting locally, BEFH strengthens the regional economy while building ownership pathways that last.
When we fund entrepreneurs, we fund:
Job creation
Economic circulation
Innovation
Confidence
Stability
We fund families.
We fund futures.
We fund permanence.
And this is only the beginning.
