Black Joy Professional Development Fund Application

The Black Joy Professional Development Fund exists to invest in the growth, sustainability, and excellence of clinicians serving Black and underrepresented entrepreneurs across the Flint Hills region, including Topeka and Lawrence.

We believe that when our therapists are supported in deepening their skills, expanding their expertise, and sustaining their practices, our entire community benefits.

This fund provides financial support (up to $1,000) for professional development opportunities that:

• Strengthen your clinical practice

• Expand your ability to serve Black entrepreneurs

• Align with the values of healing, equity, and culturally responsive care

Funding is typically provided through direct payment to the training provider or reimbursement when necessary.

Please note: Funding is limited, and not all applications will be approved. We strongly encourage you to apply, as each request helps us better understand the evolving needs of our clinician community and informs future funding opportunities.
